LUBRICATING PASTES:
Lubricating pastes contain high concentrations of solid lubricants dispersed in oil for convenient application. In cases where oils and greases are squeezed out of the lubricating contact, solid lubricants form tenacious adhering films. They are used in a number of applications, such as initial run-in, threaded connections, and areas exposed to high loads and slow speeds.
ANTI-FRICTION COATINGS:
In simple terms, anti-friction coatings can be thought of as lubricating paints. They typically contain a solid lubricant and a binder dispersed in a solvent carrier. The coating forms a dry lubricating film and provides corrosion protection and is aesthetically pleasing. Anti-friction coatings are ideal for dusty environments or for inaccessible areas that need long term lubrication.

SILICONE COMPOUNDS:
Silicone Compounds are grease-like lubricants which are resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation while maintaining their properties over a wide temperature range. They are ideal as non-curing sealants or as release agents between metal and elastomers. Silicone compounds may be used for applications where they function in a dual role as both lubricant and sealant.
LUBRICATING GREASE:
A lubricating grease is a semi-solid product of a thickening agent dispersed in a liquid lubricant. The lubricating grease operates by releasing the fluid from the thickening agent and provides lubricant where the use of oil is not practical. Molykote high performance greases are designed for use under extreme conditions: extreme pressure, harsh chemical environment, low temperature, high temperature, and all speeds.
